In the history of New Zealand Chihuahua showing, no dog has climbed higher than Jacko. As New Zealand’s first — and to this day only — Grand Champion Chihuahua, Jacko achieved what no dog of the breed had done before him.
The Grand Championship title in New Zealand requires a dog to first become a Champion and then accumulate Challenge Certificates at an elite level far beyond what is required for the standard title. It is a title that demands extraordinary quality, consistency, and longevity in the ring.
Bred by Yvonne Tester and proudly carrying the Salinacruz name, Jacko stands as the pinnacle of what the kennel has produced — and as a milestone in New Zealand show dog history.
